Because i'm dumb and made a debug build it used to run terrible but now it runs almost full speed I will keep working on making this better. I ported it very roughly, as you will see, the controls aren't fully optimized for the Xbox One, and there are plenty of bugs in the actual engine. HedgePhysics is a take on making a 3D more retro styled Sonic game.

Alright, now that I got that out of the way, hello everybody! Today I finally made an app to release! This is a port of HedgePhysics by LakeFeperd and Damizean. Also I hope this doesn't get taken down for having Sonic lol Please don't expect a real game from this yet. ITS MOSTLY FOR FUN'S SAKE OR FOR TESTING. UPDATE: () Fixed jumping, faster loading times, nearly full speed.ĭISCLAIMER: THIS GAME IS IN A BUGGY STATE. Eventually going to add a exit level option instead of quit to make it easier. It still had a good amount of other gameplay styles too.UPDATE: () Made respawning enemies stay dead for longer, and added an icon. Like it still has the boost style gameplay sometimes, but it doesn't over-use it like the games which revolved around it so it makes me like it a lot more in that respect. I think Frontiers managed to blend a number of the styles quite well though. Don't get me wrong, I like 2D Sonic but if I buy a 3D Sonic game I want 3D, and if I buy a 2D Sonic I want 2D. Like Generations in it's 3D stages and Colours both did it a lot. Also many of them over-used 2D a lot which kind of bothered me. I think boost gameplay was fine for one or two games, but just didn't hold up for the 3-4 we ended up getting. But if I had to pick boost gameplay vs Lost World I think I'd have picked Lost World(though I agree that game falls apart after the first 2-3 worlds). My preference would just have been Adventure 3 to be honest. Theyve had so many different attempts people have all different opinions on whats good. Click to shrink.Isn't this the issue with Sonic though lol.
